About Me
Hi, I'm Isadora Simon — a UX/UI designer based in Chicago with a background in marketing and a passion for human-centered design. I recently completed a UX/UI Design bootcamp at CareerFoundry, where I honed my skills in user research, wireframing, prototyping, and responsive design.
What excites me most about this field is the ability to combine empathy, logic, and creativity to make everyday experiences better for real people. I'm especially drawn to industries such as travel, retail, e-commerce, finance, healthcare, and tech, where thoughtful design can truly shape the way people explore, shop, connect, and live.
I'm currently seeking junior UX/UI design roles — freelance, contract, or full-time — where I can grow, collaborate, and create meaningful, intuitive digital experiences. My approach to design is research-driven, collaborative, and user-first. I love asking "why," connecting insights to action, and working iteratively to get to the best solution.

Originally from Brazil, I came to the U.S. through a cultural exchange program that opened my mind, tested my adaptability, and introduced me to new perspectives. I've spent years working closely with children — both professionally and as a volunteer in a kids' shelter — experiences that shaped my creativity, authenticity, and empathy in meaningful ways.
People often describe me as easy-going, patient, and someone who brings a positive vibe wherever I go. I take pride in this, as I am passionate about building genuine connections with others.
I'm passionate about design in all forms — from crafting digital experiences to decorating cozy spaces. Traveling also inspires me deeply; I love discovering new cultures, stories, and perspectives that help me grow both personally and professionally.
I'm also deeply curious about psychology, marketing, and the small ways thoughtful design can make people feel seen and supported. Whether I'm planning a trip, brainstorming design ideas, or rearranging my living room, I approach everything with creativity, care, and intention.
